IMPACT OF APPLICATION OF STERN AND BOLOMEY WATER REQUIREMENT FORMULAS ON CONCRETE MIXTURE CONSISTENCY CLASSES
Keywords: concrete, concrete mix, consistency, the Ve-Be method, the cone drop method
Abstract: The main subject of the present thesis was an examination of concrete mixtures designed in accordance with the PN-B-06250 standard. The obtained results were referred to the ranges of consistency classes in accordance with the PN-EN 2006-1 standard. The subsequent objective of the thesis was the verification of legitimacy of use of literature water indicators in the context of obtaining assumed consistency classes of concrete mixtures. The research carried out in a laboratory was preceded by detailed calculations concerning selection of particular ingredients of concrete.
