ON THE MODELLING OF NONHOMOGENEOUS ELASTIC PLATES

Keywords: elastic plates, layered plates, constraints, modelling
Abstract: The paper presents the solution of layered plates arbitrary load on the upper the lower surface. It is assumed that the plates can by combination of both orthotropic and isotropic layers and that the division of plates into layers can by nonsymmetric. This model ensures continuity of statical and kinematical values on the surface of the division of the plate into the layers. This can be developed by introduction into the description additional functions called correctors. These functions together with displacements of the division surfaces and with given functions describing the displacements on the thickness of plate are used for the construction of the some form of constrains for the three dimensional displacements of the plate. The method for solutions of composite plates is illustrated by the example of the three-layered free supported rectangular plate under the load at the upper surface.
