TOLERANCE MODELLING OF HEAT CONDUCTION IN PERIODICALLY NON-HOMOGENEOUS MATERIALS

Abstract: The paper concerns heat flow modeling in chosen periodically non-homogeneous materials. There will be applied the tolerance averaging technique to construct an averaged model of heat conduction for periodically multilayered materials. The set of equations in the constructed model will be simpler than the classical set of Fourier’s equations. Apart of that, analytical solutions of chosen initial-boundary problems will be shown and experimentally verified.
