Abstract: This paper presents the characteristics of the Nielisz dam, a comparison of geotechnical parameters of the embankment subsoil by Larsson and Marchetti and calculated conditions: stability of the dam due to hydraulic conditions (HYD) according to Eurocode 7 and the overall stability of the embankment at different water levels in the reservoir using Slope/W (the Geo-slope program).
