The comparison of this unconventional solution with single-layer external walls made of cellular concrete with enhanced thermal insulation power was carried out. The scope of the study covered hygrothermal calculations in order to adapt the walls structure to the current thermal standards for the partitions. The methodology for calculating the energy performance of buildings was used to verify the adopted solutions. In addition, the cost analysis for both solutions was made. The obtained results confirmed that the construction of partitions using clay in a single-family building can be a good alternative to conventional solutions. ER -
