Uplift capacity of the tower foundations for the 400 kV transmission lines

Abstract:

The subject of the study is the assessment of the uplift capacity of pad foundations for transmission line
towers. Full scale tests carried out in accordance with the requirements of the PN-EN 61773:2000 standard
were presented. The test results were examined and compared with the results obtained using FEM models
and methods defined in PN-EN 50341-1:2013 and PN-B-03322:1980 standards.
