Abstract: The effect of boundary layer for multilayered wall with transversal and longitudinal gradation of effective properties was for stationary elastic problems was investigated. Every layer of considered wall was made of two isotropic, homogeneous elastic materials. The considerations were reduced to the plane strain problem. The adopted model was based on the method of asymptotic tolerance averaging. The influence of structure of composites for the area of boundary layer effect was discussed.
