ON A CERTAIN MODEL OF HEAT CONDUCTION IN LAMINATED MEDIA WITH INTERLAMINAR DEFECTS

Abstract: In this contributions, the object of analysis will be restricted to the heat conduction in two component laminates with a periodic structure. The non-ideal contact between adjacent laminae is modelled by a sufficiently thin interlaminar layer made of an extra material with a sufficiently small heat conductivity when compared to lamina materials. The aim of this presentation is to propose a refined version of the aforementioned modelling procedure in which its justification is included into the obtained model equations.
